Okay, so Return of the Jedi is a bit more catchy. How about “The Attack of the Bottomless Pit”?
I wrote of OnFiber Communications a few weeks back. Danny Bottoms was the CEO of OnFiber during the last five years of its existence. In 2006, he sold to Qwest and hung out in the middle east as COO of Showtime Arabia. Danny is returning to the U.S. and, more interestingly, to the fiber-based telecom world.
Specifically, Danny was named President of Wholesale and Government for CavTel. This division has a whole lot of fiber but a relatively modest amount of revenue. It is time I covered CavTel in the Texas Hold’em tournament–as the story is an interesting one.
