Sandi Mays has a fun-to-read post on her Business Tools Blog site.  I recall the days before Undo was invented. I agree, Undo is the biggest unsung hero — at least since Jose Cardinal stopped nibbling on the right field Ivy at Wrigley Field.

Jose Cardenal, the best afro in baseball finished his career (1980) with my favorite team, KC Royals.

New topic: for some of the best upside in stocks, look to the shit stocks or fertilizer companies. They include: The Mosiac Company (MOS), Monsanto (MON), Potash Saskatchew (POT), the newest one to go public Intrepid Potash (IPI) and on the Toronto Exchange, Agrium, Inc (Toronto: AGU.TO).

Of course do your own research, but I think you’ll find like I have these are winners for the long term with a huge upside.

    Tim,

Royals favorite team? Sorry to hear that. I didn’t realize they were still in the major leagues.

George Brett was a class act.

Thanks for reading the blog and providing a comment.

Whoa! What a dart. I grew up in KC and was a reporter there covering them from 1976-1980. George is a great guy, but so were the mad Hungarian Al Hrabosky, Amos Otis, Freddy Patek, Cookie Rojas, John Wathan, Dennis Leonard, Willie Wilson, Darryl Porter, and the rest of them. I’ve got some good stories I’ll share over drinks one day.

Here’s a stat I’m sure you aren’t aware of…the Royals are one of 5 MLB teams over the last 5 years to show a profit every year. They are a business…is that the measure of success? Or wins & losses.

The Mad Hungariean–I’ve told my son about him. Willie Wilson and Daryle Porter—they were cool ball players. Amos Otis too. I knew Cookie Rojas as a Cubs coach.

But, Tim, let’s be clear. In MLB, W&L’s matter more than P&L’s. As a life long Cub fan, I can assure you that is a true though painful fact.
